Shopping Guide: Disposable Diapers

I applaud all of you parents and caregivers who are able to use nothing but cloth diapers. I wasn’t so dedicated. When I wasn’t at home, I brought along disposable diapers. Of course, I always tried to choose brands that were not only safe for my baby but also kinder to the environment.

I have the most experience with Seventh Generation and Honest diapers. For some reason, the Honest diapers get a bad wrap on Amazon. But I always had good luck with them (and in fact, my daughter still uses Honest training pants for nighttime). Plus, I love the super cute designs. Seventh Generation diapers aren’t as pretty but they work well and they just look like they are environmentally friendly (so you can give off that “I’m an eco mom” vibe). My mother-in-law would always turn her nose up in disgust at them and ask in a snarky voice, “Are these made from hemp?”
