My little girl is getting so big! She is almost 6 months old now. Every milestone she reaches is bittersweet because I know it’s the last time I will see her first smile or watch her eat her first banana. And since we don’t have plans to add a third child to the mix, it’s even more sad knowing she is my last baby. I try to savor every moment.
Here is what we’ve been doing this week:
- My sweet husband took Monster to the Lego KidsFest. Of course, they had a blast!
- Monster and I finished reading the Wizard of Oz and started working on some activities related to the book (more to come on that).
- Monster and his dad also went to a science fair for kids sponsored by our local children’s museum. They learned how to extract DNA from a strawberry.
- We started the baby on solid foods – first mashed banana and then baked sweet potato. No jarred foods here! (More to come on this as well)
